Welcome to Library Science 101!

Hello! 

Welcome to Library Science 101. This is a 1 unit course dedicated to improving your library research skills. By the end of this class you will be able to:

  • Conduct research using the library's print and electronic resources,
  • Distinguish between academic and popular sources,
  • Develop research and organizational strategies for research assignments,
  • Apply citation rules to assignments, &
  • Understand the basic ideas behind academic integrity.

This is your class website. The class website includes your assignments (homework) and also our weekly agenda. Look at this site before every class meeting to get the most out of our class-time.
