Having trouble finding information in the databases? Try some of these searches:

  • [your chosen group] AND experiences  --> Disabled youth AND experiences
  • [your chosen group] AND discrimination --> LGBT AND discrimination
  • [your chosen group] AND profiling  --> Latino immigrants AND profiling

Database Search Tips

1. Use keywords instead of questions.

2. Use AND to search separate concepts. Use OR to search synonyms.

3. Use an asterisk (*) to search multiple forms of a word.

4. Don't forget to check the "full-text" and "scholarly journals" boxes!
