How to use Google Scholar with ELAC library resources.

Setting Google Scholar Library Links

On-Campus

On campus, Google Scholar will recognize that you are searching from ELAC and should usually display "Try ELAC Libraries" link to the full text of articles. It can also occasionally display "EBSCOhost Full Text" or "ProQuest Fulltext".

Off-Campus

If you are off-campus, try one of these options:

1. Use this Google Scholar link, which will authenticate you as being affiliated with ELAC: https://elac.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://scholar.google.com

 

OR

 

2. Configure your Google Scholar account

a. Go to https://scholar.google.com/scholar_settings?#2

b.Type "East Los Angeles College" into the search box, check the relevant boxes and click "Save"

c. If you are logged into your Google Account the settings will stay on your profile.
