East Los Angeles College (ELAC) is proud to celebrate and commemorate the many contributions women have made to the U.S. – in business, education, literature, sports, music, agriculture, fashion, and groundbreaking research and discoveries.The following events are co-sponsored by the ELAC President’s Office, Office of Professional Development, Women and Gender Studies (WGS), and LACCD African American Outreach Initiative (AAOI).

Jamie and Nery are our Spring 2023 Library Interns. Jamie will receive her Masters in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University in spring 2027 and Nery will receive her Masters in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University in spring 2023.
