Claimed Returned Policy

Any item a student, faculty, or staff claims has been returned to the ELAC libraries but is still shown on their library account can be marked as "Claimed Returned."    

Please contact the Circulation Department to place a request either by phone, email, or in-person.

Once the item is marked as “Claimed Returned” in the system, it will be queued for weekly searches over the course of four weeks.  

If the item is not found after completion of the weekly searches, the status of the item will be changed or marked as a “lost item.”  The library patron would then be responsible for the lost item replacement fee.
